It’s amazing what a one year difference can do to a baseball team this time last year dbacks found themselves eight games back from a wildcard sport which would indeed define themselves as sellers at the deadline in 2025. this year they find themselves in a much better spot now tied with the phillies for the second wildcard spot.

Dbacks have put themselves back in the playoff race after playing much better baseball since the all star break which is no surprise Dbacks have always been a much better team in second half they’ve also looked like a whole different team ever since they DFA Pavin Smith and put Zac Gallen on the IL looking back now it seems that pavin smith was holding this team back the whole time especially taking away playing time from a lot of key guys in the lineup who have helped this Dbacks team get right back in the race.

Tim Tawa , Illdemaro Vargas and Tyler Locklar have all been seeing much more playing time and have been helping this team out in different ways especially Tim Tawa weather he’s playing the outfield or infield he’s contributed to this team so much since he’s been recalled.

Of course a lot of this teams recent success wouldn’t have been done without all the runs this team has managed to score which is very different from early in the season when this team as a whole struggled to score any runs most recently in the month of June they did not play there best baseball tallied up more losses then wins during that stretch going 12-15 in the month of June watching the Dbacks play that month was painful.

The Dbacks playing much better baseball couldn’t have come at a better time with the trade deadline approaching very soon. where teams all start to look for players and there needs that well help make there team better for a postseason push. Dbacks have plenty of needs that need to be filled including a first baseman , bullpen help and another starting pitcher I believe in our front office knowing they well do whatever they need to do to help this team win make this team better. of course if theres any team that knows about getting hot at the right time its this Dbacks team they’ve done it many times before including 2023 its not about having the best record in baseball its about getting in and getting hot at the right time something this Dbacks team knows far to well.

I am very excited for whats to come for the Arizona Dimaondbacks feels like nothing but good things are on the horizon including many reinforcements that are slowly making there way back to help this team win good things are coming.
