There’s nothing better than being able to see your favorite baseball player do something spectacular in person while your at the game waiting for the that big moment to happen live in person and last Saturday on Ketel Marte T-shirt giveaway night against the bluejays that big exciting moment did happened was one of the best games of the season so far.

Zac Gallen started the game for the dbacks he did pretty good only giving up two runs through six innings our bullpen was fantastic giving up zero runs the game was tied 2-2 up until the eighth inning. bluejays went with there closer Jeff Hoffman to pitch in the eighth inning.

and man what an inning it was first two guys got back to back hits then ketel marte would walk the bases were loaded no outs for corbin carroll everyone in attendance all stood up felt like a playoff game I just knew something exciting was about to happen my heart was pounding with excitement as I stood up with my phone waiting. and with a 3-1 pitch count corbin swung at the pitch and it was gone grandslam for corbin carroll the crowd went insane it was very loud inside the stadium I screamed so loud it was one of the best innings of baseball I’ve ever seen which is saying a lot since i’ve been to so many baseball games in my lifetime seen about everything besides a perfect game in person.

felt like a playoff game it made up for missing all the playoff games in 2023 not attending one game I still regret missing those games it was hard watching those games live on tv and not being there it hurt. but this must have what it been like in game 4 of the NLCS when Alek Thomas hit a game tying homerun against the Phillies. I remember watching it on tv live screaming at my tv going insane jumping up and down but being able to see it live in person would have been so much fun. but seeing Corbin carroll my favorite player hit a grandslam in person was so exciting first time ever seeing Corbin hit a grandslam in person I’ve been so grateful to be able to witness so many Corbin Carroll homeruns in person saw him hit two in one game two years ago which was pretty cool.

after he hit that grand slam it felt like I lost my voice from screaming so loud still couldn’t believe I had just witnessed that dbacks would win the game it was such an exciting fun night! afterwards Corbin did his post game interview he got doused with water by Alek Thomas it’s so fun seeing players acting like little kids at heart having fun they really are just little kids playing a kids game at the end of the day. you truly never know what exciting moment your going to see at a baseball game.
